I have two large Aloe Vera plants indoors which are becoming too large to keep inside and wondered when would the best time for them to be planted outside.

When it’s hot and sunny, remember though just one night of frost will kill them

Iv'e got one in my back yard that grows very nicely and i use it sometimes for cuts just to help them heel or dry skin but i was wondering what else i can do with fresh aloe vera?
e.g. can you cook with it? make it into some kind of face scrub?

Hey do you know that aloe plant can be used as shampoo, it is a very effective organic anti-dandruff and lice treatment and it leaves your hair shining. you can mix a little on your regular shampoo and it will work perfectly. This is from experience….

I cut an aloe vera plant to squeeze the gel out, Im not sure if it'll grow back, will it and how long?

The leaf that you cut will not continue to grow, but the plant will grow new ones. Next time you cut, use one of the older (bottom) leaves and cut the whole thing.

I have a 10 year old thoroughbred gelding that is very high strung. And I heard that Aloe Vera Juice is a good thing to put in horses grain that are like that. (He is an ex-race horse and is prone to ulcers.)

So what are the benefits of putting Aloe Vera Juice in your horses grain as a supplement?

How much Aloe Vera Juice should I put in his grain every morning?
